Officers Launch Investigation into Shooting of Juvenile in Northern District

On Aug. 2, at approximately 10:40 p.m., Northern District patrol officers with the Baltimore Police Department responded to the 2800 block of Oswego Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.

Once at the location, officers located a 14-year-old female victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the right leg. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot while walking on the 4300 block of Reisterstown Road.
