Officers Find Victim by Investigating ShotSpotter Alert

On Nov. 3, at approximately 9:26 p.m., Baltimore Police Department officers responded to the 1400 block of Ashland Avenue to investigate a ShotSpotter alert. 

Upon canvassing the immediate area, officers located evidence of a discharging on the 900 block of North Eden Street. Officers then received a call for a victim shot at the intersection of North Broadway and Ashland Avenue. Upon arrival, officers observed a 39-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital to receive treatment for his injury. 

Central District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
