On Oct. 4, at approximately 10:03 p.m., Northern District patrol officers responded to the 3500 block of Cottage Avenue to investigate a reported shooting. A short time later, a male walked into an area hospital seeking treatment for a gunshot wound.
Upon arrival at the hospital, Baltimore Police Department officers located a 34-year-old male victim who was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the right thigh. The victim is listed in stable condition.
Northern District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Northern District Shooting detectives at 410-396-2455.
