Northern District Detectives Seek Answers in ‘Blunt Force Trauma’ Homicide Investigation

On July 30, at approximately 10:25 p.m., officers responded to the 3900 block of Park Heights Avenue to investigate a report of aggravated assault.

Upon arrival, officers were notified by a resident residing on the 3900 block of Park Heights Avenue that they had found 36-year-old Sara Browne lying unresponsive. Officers observed signs of blunt force trauma to the victim. Medics arrived and unfortunately pronounced Browne deceased on the scene.

The Medical Examiner’s Office took possession of the victim’s body and will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

Homicide detectives were notified and responded to assume control over this investigation.
