Northeast District Detectives Open Investigation into Non-Fatal Shooting of 20-Year-Old Woman

On Aug. 13, at approximately 5:04 a.m., Northeast District officers were dispatched to 4400 block of Franconia Drive following a request from a medic. 

Upon their arrival, officers located a 20-year-old female with an injury, following a potential assault. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where medics professionals discovered the victim was injured from an apparent gunshot wound. 

Northeast District shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.
