North Montford Avenue Shooting Injures Man’s Ankle

On March 2, at approximately 12:34 p.m., Baltimore Police Department officers received a ShotSpotter alert for discharging near the intersection of North Montford Avenue and McElderry Street. 

Responding officers located a 20-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to his ankle in the 600 block of North Montford Avenue. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. 

Southeast District shooting detectives responded and assumed control over the investigation.
