A 24-year-old man involved in a non-fatal shooting had his case rescheduled for mid-July on June 24 before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa M. Phinn.

Xavier Harper is charged with first and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, use of a firearm during a violent crime, possession of a firearm with a felony conviction, illegal possession with a regulated firearm, possession of firearms, having a handgun on his person, having a loaded handgun on his person, discharging firearm, illegal possession of ammo, resist/interfere with arrest, and failure to obey law in connection to an incident on Nov. 12, 2021.

The prosecutor informed the court that the defendant was issued an arrest warrant for the murder. The prosecutor also requested a postponement until everything is completed with the defendant.

Harper was represented by defense attorney Janet Andersen.

Judge Phinn ruled that the defendant should be booked and charged at central booking.

Harper’s next hearing is scheduled for July 21.
