A Baltimore City Circuit Court judge will allow non-fatal shooting defendant Skyler Lampkin to change residences while remaining on home detention pending trial.

The 22-year-old defendant is serving his home detention in Prince George’s County for a non-fatal shooting on July 16 in Baltimore. Lampkin is charged with firing a gun in Baltimore City, having a handgun on his person, having a loaded handgun on his person, reckless endangerment and two counts of having a loaded handgun in his vehicle.

During a bail review hearing on Dec. 19, defense attorney J. Wyndal Gordon told Judge Kendra Y. Ausby that his client was asking to move his home detention from Bowie back to his residence in Baltimore for employment reasons. Judge Ausby agreed, while also noting the prior dismissal of the attempted first and second-degree murder, first-degree assault and firearm use in a felony or violent crime charges related to this case.

Lampkin is currently scheduled to appear in reception court on March 7, 2024.
