A non-fatal shooting defendant will proceed to trial in early March after rejecting a three-year suspended plea.
Kennard Farabee, 38, rejected the prosecution’s plea of a suspended three-year sentence and three years of supervised probation in addition to drug and alcohol testing on Feb. 17, which he also rejected in court a day prior.
The plea is in connection to an incident on Nov. 5, 2022.
Defense attorney Elizabeth Herndon was not present in court on either day but had a colleague stand in for her.
Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa Phinn scheduled the trial to begin on March 3 before Judge Christopher Panos.
