Police Don’t Have Suspect or Motive in Liberty Heights Ave Homicide

The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred on Aug. 12.

According to a press release, officers were called to the 2400 block of Liberty Heights Avenue around 10:15 a.m. Upon arrival, officers found a 43-year-old man who had been shot in the torso.

The victim was taken to the University of Maryland’s Shock Trauma Center, where he died during surgery.

Police said investigators have not identified a suspect nor have they determined a motive.
