On Oct. 4, defense attorney Roland S. Harris appeared in Baltimore City Circuit Court to schedule his client’s trial before Judge Dana M. Middleton.

Knowledge Hamilton is charged with first-degree murder, attempted first- and second-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault, firearm use in a felony violent crime, possession of a deadly weapon with intent to injure, having a loaded handgun on his person and firearm possession with a felony conviction in connection to the death of 36-year-old Turrell Davis

Hamilton, 24, rejected the stand-in prosecutor’s aggregate plea offer of 70 years, suspending all but 30 years, for the downgraded charge of second-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder and firearm use in a felony violent crime.

Judge Middleton scheduled Hamilton’s five-day trial to begin on Jan. 16, 2024, before Judge John A. Howard

According to a Baltimore Police Department press release, on Sept. 14, 2022, officers dispatched to the 800 block of N. Calhoun Street pronounced Davis dead at the scene. A second victim was transported to the hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
