Non-Fatal Shooting

3 Injured in 2 Separate Night Shootings

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced shooting investigations in the Northern and Southwest Districts.

On April 16, at approximately 9:50 p.m., Southwest District patrol officers responded to the 1500 block of W. Fayette Street to investigate a ShotSpotter alert.

Once there, officers located a 30-year-old woman suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where she is expected to survive.

A second victim, a 21-year-old man, walked into an area hospital seeking treatment for gunshot wounds. He is also expected to survive, police say.

Less than 30 minutes later, at approximately 10:17 p.m., Northern District patrol officers responded to the 2500 block of Liberty Heights Avenue to investigate another report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 37-year-old man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment.
