A 19-year-old murder defendant was scheduled for trial during reception court before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa K. Copeland on Nov 8.

Montay Anthoney Brown allegedly shot and killed a 33-year-old male on May 6 on the unit block of East 21st Street.

Brown is charged with first-degree murder and firearm use during a felony or violent crime in the incident in which the victim was found suffering from a gunshot wound inside a vehicle.

Brown is scheduled for another pretrial conference on Dec.13 before Judge Copeland.
