A murder defendant had his trial date set before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa Phinn on Nov. 30.
Theodore Johnson is charged with first-degree murder, firearm use in a felony violent crime, firearm possession with a felony convection, having a handgun on his person in connection with an incident that occurred on June 16.
According to CBS News, at 8:15 p.m. on the night of the incident, officers were called to the 3500 block of W. Caton Avenue for reports of a shooting. When they arrived they found William Christian suffering from a gunshot to the head. He later died from his injuries.
Judge Phinn scheduled the defendant’s trial date for April 3, 2023, with Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa Copeland presiding.
Johnson, 41, is represented by defense attorney Chris Purpura.
