Baltimore Witness data shows that March has the highest number plea deals accepted by homicide defendants with 17 defendants taking the prosecution’s offers that month. January, February, and July have the lowest number, showing only one plea deal was accepted per each month.
For non-fatal shooting defendants the highest average number of pleas accepted were 19 for April and the lowest number of pleas accepted were four in January and February.
