A 56-year-old man has been arrested for the murder of a 50-year-old man on July 28.
The Baltimore Police Department has reported the arrest of Jeffery Chaney, 56, exactly one week after the incident on the 600 block of W. Lexington Street, where officers found Peter Riley, 50, inside an apartment suffering from stab wounds.
Detectives believe Chaney fatally stabbed Riley during a dispute at Chaney’s home.
On July 29, detectives transported Chaney to Central Booking Intake Facility, where he has been charged with first and second-degree murder, first and second-degree assault and dangerous weapon charges.
