Man Killed in Southwest District

On July 4, at approximately 1:49 a.m., Southwest District patrol officers responded to the 2700 block of West Franklin Street for a report of a shooting.

Once there, Baltimore Police Department officers located 26-year-old Kenshawn Goode suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Medics responded to the location and pronounced the victim dead on the scene.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot while on the 1700 block of West Baltimore Street and then driven to the 2700 block of West Franklin Street by a citizen.
