Man Injured in Western District Shooting

On July 27, at around 8:34 p.m., Baltimore Police Department officers responded to the 1600 block of North Monroe Street to investigate a ShotSpotter alert. 

Upon arrival, officers observed a 27-year-old male suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital, where he is listed in stable condition. 

Western District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
