The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred on July 30.
According to a press release, a Shot Spotter alert around 10 p.m. sent officers to the 1500 block of Presstman Street. Upon arrival, officers found an adult man with multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim was taken to a local hospital in critical condition, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The victim was later identified as 33-year-old Corey Jermaine Drake.
As of Monday, there have been 196 homicides in Baltimore in 2021.
