A man charged with attempted murder rejected a plea offer and had a trial date set during reception court on Oct. 12 at Baltimore City Circuit Court.
Tavon Bryant is charged with attempted first and second-degree murder, two counts of first-degree assault, three counts of reckless endangerment, possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute, and five firearm-related charges in connection to an incident on Dec. 19, 2020.
The prosecution offered Bryant two five-year sentences to run concurrently for possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and one count of reckless endangerment.
Bryant and his defense attorney, Lawrence Rosenberg, rejected the offer.
A trial date was set for March 22, 2022.
