A man charged with attempted murder accepted a plea offer on Sept. 28 during reception court at Baltimore City Circuit Court.
Otis Weaver, 56, is charged with attempted first and second-degree murder, first and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, firearm possession with a felony conviction, and five other handgun-related charges.
The prosecution offered a plea of 15 years, suspending all but time served, for firearm possession with a felony conviction. He must also participate in drug and alcohol screening and narcotics anonymous, as well as register as a gun offender and stay away from the victim.
Weaver accepted the offer. His defense attorney is Sarah Gottlieb.
