In reference to the homicide that occurred in the Southern District on Aug. 1, Baltimore Police Department investigators have arrested 28-year-old Paul Artis of Baltimore.
Investigators learned that Artis fatally shot and killed 38-year-old Ondrell Mayo while on the 900 block of East Patapsco Avenue.
On Aug. 6, Paul Artis was arrested at 601 East Fayette Street, Baltimore Police headquarters.
Detectives transported Artis to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he has been charged with first-degree murder.
