Tovarren Scott, 36, is charged with two counts of first-degree murder, firearm use in the commission of a crime, and two counts of firearm possession with a felony conviction for the murder of Moses Rush on the 1600 block of Laurens Street on July 16, 2020.
The prosecution offered Scott a plea of life for first-degree murder, and 20 years, the first five without parole, for firearm use in the commission of a crime. These would be served consecutively.
