A man accepted a plea offer for two firearm possession charges in reception court on Sept. 21 at Baltimore City Circuit Court.
The 31-year-old defendant accepted a plea offer of five years, suspending all but time served, for firearm possession after a drug conviction; and three years, suspending all but time served, for possession of a handgun. The offer also included two years of probation, and he must register as a gun offender.
The Baltimore resident has been incarcerated since Nov. 25, 2019.
His original charges included firearm possession with a felony conviction, possession of firearms after a drug conviction, having a handgun on his person, handgun in his vehicle on a public road, two counts of discharging firearms, and illegal possession of ammo.
