A juvenile charged as an adult for various firearm-related charges is awaiting his juvenile transfer hearing.
The 17-year-old is charged with possessing a firearm during a drug trafficking crime, possession of a handgun in a vehicle, carrying a handgun on his person, discharging firearms, and possession of a controlled substance with the intent to manufacture or distribute.
The juvenile’s transfer hearing is slated to take place on Oct. 18.
The defendant will return to reception court on Oct. 27.
