Jury selection began for an attempted murder defendant on April 26 before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Yolanda A. Taylor

Dorian Griffin, 26, is being charged with attempted first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, first-degree assault, conspiracy to commit first-degree assault, use of a firearm during a violent crime, conspiracy to commit use of a firearm during a violent crime, and reckless endangerment for the incident that occurred on May 29, 2020.

Griffin’s two co-defendants, Shanequa Parham and Kimberly Rogers, both accepted plea deals in September 2021.

According to Griffin’s defense attorney Stephen Tully, the victim, who is currently incarcerated for first-degree murder in an unrelated offense, was shot in the leg on the day of the incident. 

Griffin’s trial is scheduled to begin following the jury selection process.
