A jury was selected on Sept. 8 for the trial of a 54-year-old Baltimore man charged with homicide nearly two years ago. The trial is expected to begin on Sept. 9 at 9:30 a.m.
Jury selection began late Wednesday morning before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Lynn Stewart Mays for Ronald A. Brown who is charged with first-degree murder and use of a deadly weapon with the intent to injure.
According to CBS Baltimore, police were called to a home on the 500 block of N. Payson Street around 5:30 a.m. on Dec. 8, 2019, after receiving reports of an injury. When officers arrived, they found a man inside with stab wounds to his body.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
During jury selection on Wednesday, counsel listened as Judge Mays questioned each prospective juror. Counsel proceeded to select jurors.
