Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa Phinn would not call a warrant that had not been quashed during reception court on Sept. 29.

Darryl Dickenson Givens, 22, is charged with attempted second-degree murder, first and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, firearm use in a felony violent crime, having a loaded handgun on his person, having a loaded handgun in a vehicle, and discharging a firearm in the city.

The defense attorney standing in for Mark Sobel told Judge Phinn that a motion was filed to quash the warrant in May.

Judge Phinn said she wouldn’t call it as it had not actually been quashed yet.
