Judge Sets Trial Date for Three Co-Defendants Facing First-Degree Murder Charges

On Oct. 12, Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa M. Phinn scheduled a trial for three codefendants, Raquan Baylor, Kamar Robinson and Darian Adams in connection to the June 2019 death of Antonio Jackson.

Baylor, 27, was represented by Lawerence Rosenberg standing in for Michael Tomko. Baylor is being charged with first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, having a handgun on his person and having a handgun in a vehicle on a public road.

Robinson, 22, represented by Bradley MacFee is charged with first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, having a handgun on his person, using a firearm in a felony violent crime, having a handgun in a vehicle on a public road and possession of a firearm as a minor.

Adams, 28, was represented by MacFee standing in for Brandon Mead. Adams is charged with first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, having a handgun on his person, using a firearm in a felony violent crime, having a handgun in a vehicle on a public road and illegal possession of a regulated firearm.

All three will be tried together in a trial beginning on Jan. 29, 2024. Judge Barry G. Williams will preside over the case.

The co-defendants are charged in an incident that occurred on June 22, 2019. District Court of Maryland documents reveal the three men are charged with killing 33-year-old Jackson. The three defendants allegedly shot at him a total of 17 times, striking Jackson multiple times. The incident took place on the 800 block of North Bradford street. Police were allegedly able to identify the suspects using video pulled from multiple locations around the scene. Police were also able to pinpoint the suspects using cell phone records.
