On Aug. 7, a murder defendant had a trial date set for Dec. 15 by Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa M. Phinn.
Cornell Moore, 37, represented by Robert D. Cole Jr., is charged with first-degree murder, use of a firearm in a felony violent crime, possession of a firearm with a felony conviction and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder in connection to an incident that occurred on Sept 14, 2021.
According to a Baltimore Police Department news release, the victim, 29-year-old Shabro Meredith was shot and killed on the 1800 block of N. Smallwood Street. After collecting physical evidence, reviewing video footage and interviewing witnesses, detectives were able to identify Moore as the main suspect.
Moore’s trial is expected to last five days before Judge Charles H. Dorsey III.
