On Oct. 2, a former HBO actress appeared in Baltimore City Circuit Court to schedule her jury trial before Judge Melissa M. Phinn.
Lakeyria Doughty of HBO’s “Charm City Kings” is charged with first-degree murder and possession of a deadly weapon with intent to injure in the Jan. 1, 2021, killing of her girlfriend, 33-year-old Tiffany Wilson.
Doughty, 29, and her attorney, Andrea Jaskulsky, will next appear for her three-day trial on Jan. 16, 2024, before Judge Althea M. Handy.
According to documents from the District Court of Maryland, Baltimore Police Department (BPD) officers responded to the 1200 block of N. Stricker Street, where they found Wilson stabbed in the chest. Doughty told officers that Wilson stabbed herself in the middle of an argument, but the medical examiner who conducted Wilson’s autopsy found that her wound did not appear to be self-inflicted.
