On Tuesday, Feb. 29, Baltimore City Court Judge Melissa K. Copeland scheduled a first-degree murder trial of a 19-year-old defendant.
Parris Harris, represented by defense attorney Ronald Harris, is charged with two counts of first-degree murder, second-degree murder, first-degree assault, reckless endangerment, firearm use in a felony violent crime, possession of a firearm as a minor and having a handgun on his person in relation to an incident that occurred Jan. 26, 2023, on the 3400 block of Spelman Road resulting in the death of 27-year-old Desmond Gardner.
Judge Copeland scheduled Harris’ five-day trial to commence July 8.
