Two homicide co-defendants rejected a plea of life on Sept. 27 before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa M. Phinn.
Bolondalay Banks, 39, and Al Brown, 35, are both charged with two counts of first-degree murder, two counts of use of a firearm during a felony violent crime, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, and having a loaded handgun on their person in connection to an incident on Oct. 7, 2021.
Banks and Brown’s defense counsels, George Harris and Julie Shapiro, respectively, rejected a plea of life for first-degree murder.
Both defendants are scheduled for trial on March 20, 2023, and it is expected to last five days, with Judge Videtta A. Brown presiding.
