On Oct. 17, a 34-year-old defendant appeared before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa M. Phinn to schedule trial for a murder that occurred in 2013.
Brandon Brown is charged with first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, firearm use in a felony violent crime and firearm possession with a felony conviction in connection to the Sept. 8, 2013, death of 26-year-old Antonio Mays.
The prosecution had no offer because she was waiting on DNA test results.
Brown and his attorney, Robert D. Cole, Jr., will appear at trial on Feb. 20, 2024, before Judge Jennifer B. Schiffer.
District Court of Maryland documents state that 10 years after Mays’ murder on the 1000 block of Valley Street, witnesses came forward and identified Brown as the shooter via photo array.
