Judge Schedules Motion Hearing for Homicide Defendant Facing More Than 60 Charges

A prosecutor assigned to a 2022 murder case had no offer for the defendant on Aug. 21 before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa M. Phinn

Defendant Tyshaun Williams, who is represented by Megan Lewis, is charged with 66 charges including three counts of first-degree murder, second-degree murder, robbery, carjacking and multiple other weapons charges.

Judge Phinn scheduled a motions hearing for Oct. 11 before Judge Myshala E. Middleton.

According to Baltimore City Circuit Court documents, Williams is accused of being a part of an organized group known for targeted carjackings and armed robberies. Williams is accused of murder in connection with the the shooting death of 19-year-old Deontay Edwards at or near the 1700 block of Oliver Street.
