On Oct. 21, a Baltimore man charged with attempted murder was granted private home detention before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Jeannie J. Hong.
Damon Martin, 23, is charged with attempted first and second-degree murder, first and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, use of a firearm during a felony violent crime, having a handgun on his person and discharging a firearm in connection to an incident on Jan. 24.
According to CBS Baltimore News, at 4:22 p.m, officers were called to the 3000 block of Monument Street, where a 19-year-old man was shot multiple times.
Martin’s defense counsel Marc Minkove and the prosecutor consensually requested home detention for the defendant, which was granted by Judge Hong.
