On April 19, Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Gale E. Rasin granted a request by Clifton T. Perkins Hospital for a third extension to conduct a competency evaluation for a 29-year-old murder suspect.
Defendant Timothy Callanan and stand-in defense attorney Jessica Rubin appeared before Judge Rasin to confirm an evaluation extension.
Rasin approved the request for an extension and postponed the reading of the results until May 3.
The 29-year-old defendant is charged with first-degree murder in connection to an incident that occurred on Aug. 29, 2020.
According to the Baltimore Sun, the victim, 28-year-old Mason Moldoven, was fatally stabbed, and her body was later found in a plastic container on the 1100 block of Gorsuch Avenue.
