A Baltimore man was found mentally incompetent and possibly a danger to himself and others by Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Gale E. Rasin in mental health court on Aug. 8.
Edwin Butler, 58, is charged with first and second-degree attempted murder, first and second-degree assault, and carrying a deadly weapon with the intent to injure in connection with an incident that occurred on Dec. 13, 2021.
Butler is ordered to remain under the care of mental health services at a local hospital until his next court date on Feb. 15, 2023.
