Hospital Notifies Central District Officers of 18-Year-Old Shooting Victim

On Aug. 13, at approximately 2:16 a.m., Central District patrol officers with the Baltimore Police Department were on patrol and were advised by a citizen that a shooting had occurred on the 600 block of S. Bethel Street. 

Upon arrival, officers canvassed the area and discovered  evidence of a crime scene. A short time later, officers were dispatched to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim seeking treatment. 

Once there, officers located a 18-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wounds to the arm. 

Central District shooting detectives responded and assumed control over the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Central District detectives, at 410-396-2411.
