On July 15, at approximately 9:26 p.m., Northern District patrol officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to the 2800 block of Boarman Avenue for a report of a shooting.
Once there, officers located 40-year-old Shammah Wakes and a 54-year-old male, both suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
The victims were transported to area hospitals where the Wakes later died.
