The trial of two co-defendants accused of murder over two years ago had their trial rescheduled for November on Feb. 15 before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa Phinn.
Aaron Michael Clubb, 25, and Tywon Johnson, 27, both are charged with first-degree murder, armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, and firearm use during a violent crime in connection to an incident on July 15, 2019.
Clubb is also charged with conspiracy to first-degree murder and illegal possession of a firearm.
The trial was slated to begin on Feb. 14 but was postponed due to the suspension of jury selection with the rise of COVID-19 cases.
Initially, Clubb and Johnson were offered the same plea of life suspending all but 50 years, with five years supervised probation for first-degree murder. Clubb’s defense attorney, Alex Leikus, and Johnson’s defense attorneys, Andrea Jaskulsky and Deborah Levi, rejected the offer on their clients’ behalf.
The co-defendants’ trial is scheduled for Nov. 14 with Judge Jeannie Hong presiding.
