Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa K. Copeland scheduled a motion hearing for 27-year-old Kalim Satterfield on Feb. 7.

Satterfield and 37-year-old co-defendant, Darrell Morton were arrested on Sept. 17, 2024 for their alleged involvement in the Aug. 17, 2024 homicide of  Dominic DeAngelo Reid on the 1000 block of Madison Avenue

Satterfield and Morton are charged with two counts each of first-degree murder, firearm use in a felony or violent crime, conspiracy to use a firearm in a felony or violent crime, firearm possession in felony violent crime, and having a handgun on their persons.

The defendant claimed he has yet to meet his defense attorney, Jason Rodriguez

“I can’t get in contact with him,” Satterfield said.

Judge Copeland assured Satterfield that the court will make contact, and he thanked her for her help.

Satterfield will appear before Judge Yolanda A. Tanner on March 13 for a motion hearing.
