A 33-year-old Baltimore man charged with first-degree murder was scheduled for trial in December on June 14 before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa M. Phinn

Steven Arthur is charged with two counts of first-degree murder, three counts of armed robbery, three counts of attempted armed robbery, five counts of conspiracy to commit armed robbery, five counts of use of a firearm during a violent crime, possession with a felony conviction, attempt to kill/murder, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, and two counts of first-degree assault in connection to an incident on May 31, 2021. 

Judge Phinn listened as counsel agreed on a trial date. 

Arthur was represented by defense attorney Martin Cohen. 

According to CBS Baltimore, on May 31, 2021, police said a 33-year-old man was assaulted and a 34-year-old man was murdered on the 1900 block of W. Fayette Street in West Baltimore. 

Arthur’s trial is scheduled for Dec. 5.
