A 32-year-old homicide defendant received a trial date on Nov. 4 at Baltimore City Circuit Court.
According to CBS Baltimore, Pierre Orlando Foster Jr. is charged in connection with the fatal shooting of Dayvon Mason, a Department of Public Works employee and a non-fatal shooting of another victim. The shootings took place at the intersection of York Road and Cold Spring Lane on April 23.
Foster is charged with two counts of first-degree murder, two counts of firearm use in a felony violent crime, attempted first-degree murder, and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder.
During reception court before Judge Melissa M. Phinn, the defendant was offered the same plea deal he was offered on Oct. 5, which was life for each count of first-degree murder to be served consecutively, and 20 years for firearm use in a felony crime and attempted first-degree murder to be served concurrently with the life sentences.
Foster rejected the plea once again and received his trial date of June 17, 2022.
