Firearm, Person of Interest in Custody After Broadway Double Shooting

On Oct. 5, at approximately 1:56 a.m., Central District patrol officers were in the area of the South Broadway when they heard discharging of a firearm coming from the 600 block of South Broadway.

Upon arrival, Baltimore Police Department officers located a 19-year-old female victim and a 16-year-old male victim who were both suffering from apparent gunshot wounds to their legs. Both victims were transported to an area hospital listed in stable condition. 

Officers have taken a person of interest into custody, and a firearm was recovered.
