In reference to the shooting that occurred in the Eastern District on July 11, Baltimore Police Department investigators have arrested a repeat violent offender, 25-year-old John Edward Brown of Baltimore.
Officers learned that Brown, who was the estranged husband of the 31-year-old female victim, shot her multiple times in the home on the 1900 block of East Federal Street, leaving her critically injured.
While officers were on the scene, John Brown returned to the home where he was arrested without incident.
John Edward Brown was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged with attempted murder in the first and second degree and multiple handgun violations.
