Eastern District Detectives Open Investigation into 61-Year-Old Victim Shot in the Buttocks

On July 7, at approximately 3:45 p.m., officers responded to an area hospital to investigate a call for a walk-in shooting victim.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 61-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to his buttocks.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot four days prior, on July 3, at approximately 3:00 a.m. and did not seek medical attention until today. Detectives are attempting to locate a possible crime scene regarding this incident.

Eastern District shooting detectives with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded and assumed control over this Investigation.
