Detectives Respond to Lyndale Avenue Shooting

On Nov. 17, at approximately 9:17 p.m., Baltimore Police Department officers responded to the 1700 block of Elmley Avenue to investigate a ShotSpotter alert.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 43-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers rendered aid to the victim until medics arrived on the scene. Medics arrived and transported the male to an area hospital where he will receive treatment for his injury. The victim is listed in critical condition.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot on the 3700 block of Lyndale Avenue.

Eastern District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
