Detectives Make Arrest in Southwest District Shooting

On Sept. 19, at approximately 9:29 p.m., Baltimore Police Department officers were dispatched to investigate a call for a reported shooting on the 5300 block of Jamestowne Court. 

Officers responded to the location and observed a 25-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital and is listed in stable condition. 

A suspect, a 22-year-old male, was arrested on scene and taken into custody. 

Southwest District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over the investigation.
