Detectives Launch Investigation into Edmondson Avenue Homicide

On March 21, at approximately 2:51 p.m., officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) were dispatched to the 2100 block of Edmondson Avenue in response to a shooting.

Upon arriving at the location, officers observed 33-year-old Terence Cheatam suffering from gunshot wounds. Medics responded and transported the victim to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Homicide detectives responded to the scene and assumed control over the investigation.

Preliminary information revealed that the suspect and victim were engaged in a verbal argument prior to the shooting.
